I’ve found at the official site of the show a lot of pics of this thinspiration. I think she’s extremely skinny. I don’t like her.

oh my god this girl marrianne or wt eva luks terrible i wud rather die then look that skinny she looks anorexic and i really pity her. I would rather be fat, no wait obese then b that skinny. what happened to the beautiful slim look. And modelling agencies shouldnt allow girls this thin to. She is obviously underweight and lks ill and as unhealthy as an obese person would only the skinn way. this girl needs sorting out.

ive got to say this but the pics of marriane are digusting..i real pity her for being soooooo skiiny..she is OBVIOUSLY anorexic. I realli dont understand why moddeling agencies look for anorexic girls.it is putting out a bad image to all those teenge girls who r unhappy with thier weight,it is in a way encouraging the anorexic look that so many models seem to have.i would absolutely hate to be this skinny, its disgusting. this girl needs to be repalced with some one whos healthy and NOT anorexic coz am tellin ya, its not a pretty site!

theres me thinkin i wz skinny!!!! bluddi helll!! my frends were tellin me about this show , how the models were like super anorexic, but i dint blieve them. OMG…… i feel sorry for her in a way and i think she should b chuked out of the program and lyk “sophie” ^^ said, they shuld replace her with sumone healthier and better looking…Fat chance!!!

and she is NOT anorexic, shes healthy,
skinny person, (NATURALLY) skinny, but

she looks really good you can’t say she’s anorexic when you don’t no what she eats or what her diets like! people are calling models anorexic all the time, but you cannot tell that just by looking at them, infact you dont have to be super skinny to be anorexic!

I think shes a really good model, i watched her in the programme and she was the best one there, even though most people arent that skinny it doesn’t mean the people who are skinny like her are disgusting. She’s naturally skinny which is a good thing! SHE’S NOT DISGUSTING!

I think she is far too thin and i do not believe for a moment that this is natural for her, i really think that if she put on a few pounds she would look fab as she is quite a pretty girl.

I think that Ms. B. looks sooo perfect. You know that NOBODY looks the same as they do on camera, sure in a bathing suit she looks a little gross in the stomache, but in that black jumper she looks SOO GOOD

I have also seen Marianne at the clothes show live, she is this skinny in real life, but i also reckon that she looks amazing and she will go far, she should of won ‘make me a supermodel’. But this does not set a good example, but then she is not in the spotlight as mush as say Posh so i don’t think that her size matters.

i think she looks relly good. some of the images make her look pretty emaciated but thats how models are, shes not as skinny as alot of cat walk models she could maybe gain about 7lbs and look a little healthier. Also saying she looks terrible for looking skinny is just as bad as saying the other girl looks terrible for being a size 12,you shouldnt critasize peoples weight ever.

I think her face is deceptive. She has a “chubby” face so even though she’s aneroxic, her face allows to her to pass for “healthish.”

I watched the programme and i do think that, in Marriannes defence she was the best. Week in and out she put in the most effort and had the best face.
On the other hand, i agree with the fact that she is majorly underweight. For her height she should be larger than what she is. It dosnt look ‘attractive’ and I think that the lowest size on the catwalk should be a size 8.
Catwalk models are very tall and so should not be this skinny, it is unhealthy for them. A catwalk is trying to ’sell’ and/or advertise the clothes but these ridiculously skinny models are not doing that.

I think that most of the pictures where beautiful, but I have seen other pictures of her where she looks really terrible, like skin and bones. So there is pictures where she looks unhealthy, which she did’nt do on theese.

the term ANOREXIA is used to define a body mass that is a BMI under 18/17 and wooooooah what do we have here?!?!?!?! a 16.1!!!!
some of you are debating what this girl LOOKS like - yeah she gorgeous, yeah she takes nice pictures. but at the end of the day it is NOT healthy to be THAT thin, by nature she should at least be a BMI of 18, but even that for her height is underweight.
no offence but she looked sick in the first image at the top of the page. when i saw it i instantly though BULLIMIA!!!
but anyway ive seen girls her height with more or less the same figure at hospital wards checked in for eating disorders so you know the fact remains that she IS underweight and it isnt setting a good example at all.
Obviously when you’re at a fashion show (dont you dare say owt about me not going to one im a fashion student!!!) you’re gonna think the models look fab, its because of all the glamour thats in front of you, its like looking a totally different world through a glass, they all look like something unreal and exotic because you just dont see many people like that walking on the streets.
AND some idiot said ’shes a size 8 not a size 0′ fucking idiot, a size 0 is an american size defining a size 4 from the UK, and for her BMI she must be at least a size 6. i would know, i am a size 8 and my hip bones dont jut out like that!

I think she looks pretty cute. She reminds me of Twiggy, because of the wispy blonde hair and bone-thin body frame. I think she looks fine the way she is. I believe the modeling industry is looking for people like her- and I have no problem with that. I’d rather be skinny than fat. Wouldn’t you?

Unless you know what she eats, you wouldn’t be able 2 tel if she was anorexic or not. She is just a small woman who obviously takes pride in her weight.

I think she will have a fantastic career. If you watched the show you would’ve seen that she ate more than most of the guys in the house, let alone the girls. Some people are just built a certain way!

She’s absoltely beautiful come of it you can’t pity her and I’d rather die than be obese not the other way round. She maybe a bit too thin but if she had been diagnosed anorexic then they would have stopped her modelling after the fashion week incident.

1. the BMI does not determ whether your anorexic or not you may just have a good metabolism anorexia is when you can’t bring yourself too eat because all you can think about is your weight.
2. The comment about her height that even a BMI of 18 would be underweight for her height.. well your wrong again your BMI is determined by your height and weight.
3.The point you made about seeing girls in hospital with the same figure as her that will be because they are not naturally thin and do starve themselves as I said before Marrianne probably just has a high metabolism

you know what you’re ALL so annoying. why is everyone going crazy over one person? if she is anorexic it’s partly her own fault. too many people suffer and become un-naturally thin because of starvation, yet some of these girls CHOOSE to suffer and you know what, if theyre being stupid and choosing to not eat all the wonderful foods around them when some people would murder for it, they deserve to die.

I weigh 7 stone and have never dieted in my life, i consume crisps and chips like they are going out of fashion, personally i think just because a girl is thin we should not be all tied with the same brush that we are either anorexic or bulemic. I rather admire marianne for taking all of the critisim from the mediam when as she states she is neither anorexic nor bulemic.

I personally do not think she is that thin for someone supposed to be anorexic, yes, of course she is thin, but what’s the harm in being naturally skinny?
She is pretty and if there are other models on the show of a bigger size, like 8 and 12, then who really cares?!

people used to skit me in primary skool bcos i was thin and after a while it started to get to me but if i was some lil chubsta people wouldnt have called me fat and if they did some thing would be done about it

I must say, that was a bit childish of you to say ^ Julia & sonya. You are only making matters worse by calling people names. Yes. I agree with you that she is quite beautiful. But she is too slim. I too feel sorry for her but not for the reasons others do. I feel sorry for her because there are a lot of people in this world who will consider her as an “unhealthy image” Even if it is her natural weight, you need to think about the young girls who are NOT that naturally thin and look up to her as a model. Chances are, they will develope and eating disorder. I do not wish to upset anyone, just set things straight.

There will never be another Twiggy. She does not come close.
Twiggy only weighed a little over 90 pounds, but she looked natural. Marianne looks very unnaturaly thin… She looks MUCH older than her years because of her lack of weight. Even Twiggy came out and said she thinks that this whole size 0 thing has come too far in modeling. Now if Twiggy is saying something about it, it’s gotta be bad!

She looks bloody FANTASTIC. It’s sad for the normal person to realize that you have to be THAT thin to look great in fashion photos, but that’s how it is. Reality shows are a petri dish, so I’m not so huffed about Jen getting more sympathy votes than her. Point is, when you LOOK at Marianne, you KNOW she’s a real model.

she looks FIERCE in all of her photo shoots. those who criticisize her for being too thin are maybe as F.A.T. as jen. no doubt marianne has haters. she has the WALK , the LOOKS and the BODY of a REAL SUPERMODEL. jen should not have joined the show in the first place. shame for all the fat people out there. modeling industry is for clinically thin people. no room for jen. and people must accept it. if there are anorexic or bulimic teens, it’s their choice and insecurity that made them to be in that condition. never point a finger to anyone to make lame excuses why are there are cases like that.

to those of you who thinks Marianne is awful, u are all BLOODY JEALOUS AND INSECURE. she is a real supermodel and was very professional during the show. she has the BODY, the LOOKS and the WALK of a SUPERMODEL. Jen does not have any small chance of becoming a supermodel and that’s a fact. in the real modeling industry they look for models with Marianne’s size. THAT’S the REALITY. if there are people who dies of anorexia or bulimia, it’s because they chose that and they don’t have self satisfaction like most of u here.

Anorexia is not beautiful or glamourous.
It is a serious issue that is affecting thousands of men and women.
